Technical How to test brake light switch?

Hi all and thanks again for your friendly help.

(I decided to make a separate post for this specifically.)

I posted yesterday about these error messages:
Error messages: (vehicle did not come with a handbook.)
ASR Disconnected
EBD Failure see handbook
ABS unavailable see handbook

I got replies suggesting that it can be the brake switch.
My son just removed it and I tested it.
Two pins don't have continuity with switch not depressed and the other two pins do have continuity.
With switch depressed, it is the opposite.

Can you please confirm if this is correct?
