i want to remove the badges on my car and dont really want to be left with faded paint

its a '54 punto in murano blue, is it likely to be faded, well faded enough to be instantly noticeable

many thanks :D

It shouldn't be faded at all mate. All modern cars are in basecoats & lacquers nowadays. (y) Specially as manufacturers are moving to waterbased paints.

im guessing it be easy to remove

hot water or hairdryer over it and just pull back

what if im left with a bit of glue, how can i remove that :D

The best way is with an old credit card or a CLEAN paint scraper(be very careful if using one of these!) If there's any backing left(badges are usually held on with mirror pads not glue) a decent panel wipe(isoprpyl alcohol) or cellulose thinners or turps(if using either of these have a secperate dry cloth to hand to rub off immediately) then just give it a wax.
