Hi everyone...A question regarding the High beam (H1 bulb) N/S. For some reason, ALL the other beams seem to work the way they should, but this side either doesn't, or burns a bulb out quickly IF it works.... Can ANYONE spread any "light" on this at all? Thanks ever so much in advance.

I'd check its not rattling in its holder, or the holder isn't rattling, or poor connections.
Are there any signs of heating?
Hi no signs of any of those, and I have also replaced the headlight itself so the whole unit is brand new...

The headlight cluster itself cannot be the culprit here, rather the connector, the wiring or the lever. Or any other electronic part (BCM?).

Attached 3 eLearn docs for the main beam, dipped headlights and the side / parking lights for the 2008+ 500.

However preparing the files I've noticed a strange thing:

in the main beam doc there are two very similar wiring diagrams. Looking at the functionnal description it seems that the bottom one is valid (fuse F87). I tried to find another doc that wiring diagram could come from, but couldn't find anything that would 'fit'.

I wasn't adding the indicators nor fog lights docs as they are not in the same cluster, so rather are not related.
