Hello all!

I'm new to this forum so thought I'd come and say hello.

I've had my Punto for 5 years now and I enjoy every bit of it!
It's a 53 plate MK2 Punto Active (5million) in black and is still completely stock.
It's getting on a bit with over a hundred thousand miles and being over 10 years old but mechanically it's sound and I've looked after it well.

I'd like to get some small mods for it such as alloy wheels and tinted windows etc but being as I've been at uni for most the time I've had the car I haven't been able to afford much other than running it. The only thing I've really done is replace the stock stero and speakers (because let's be honest the stock sound system isn't the best!).

Anyway it's good to finally be part of the forum after being a Fiat owner for so long!

Thanks :)

if its a 53plate, good chance its not a mk2, but a mk2b
The version with a bigger headlights

Mods - Insurance dependant, ensure there happy for them

Alloys - 15" Sporting alloys are the way forward :)
anything bigger = stressed diff

Colour coding is a big option - Door handles, bump strips, mirrors etc

I thought the "5 million" was the celebratory "goodbye" to the old-shape,;)

it would be intersting to see how many are out there on the UK roads,
as it's now a 10 YO runabout for most people.., :)
