I have a poorly Ducato motorhome. seems water got in the timing cover and froze causing the timing belt to jump a couple of teeth. im looking for some advice on changing possible snapped rockers. 2013 130 multijet

Not sure, how do I find out
On chassis/vin plate. under bonnet .
Note, I don't want your Vin number, only the engine series number.
Some Ducatos had Fiat's engine , some had Peugeot, some had a Ford ? based engine, so guidance varies on Engine Series.
The engine actual cc in log book V5c may help.
I am guessing that yours is the Fiat engine 2287cc Engine Series F1AE0481N.
Sorry I am not familiar with working on that one.
Note it is similar to the Iveco Daily version to a point and I believe there is a manual in the Forum Download section relating to that which may help.
However as I understand it the N suffix is the Fiat version of the engine intended for front wheel drive vehicles as opposed to the Iveco version being rear wheel drive so base of engine is likely to be different, but if you are mainly concerned with head area hopefully it will be a guide.
Looking at a photo of that engine it looks like once cambelt side and injector pump etc removed plus injectors? then cover should come off and if lucky only broken rockers and maybe cam followers/hydraulic tappets etc. rather than valve/head damage.;)
