just bought "Y" reg Bravo.Nice car,drives very well,but how do you change the presets on the flipping radio. Seems to be a factory fitted unit

do you mean the presets for the radio stations?
if i remember correctly find the station you want then hold the number you want it saved to and it will beep and then its done
