Hi I just joined today, i found this fab site via Google. I've owned a punto for eight years now and I love it. It's a 2001 ELX. I've got a leak problem, the floor on the driver's side is soaking wet, is this coming from the washer bottle? Any help would be appreciated.

Your leak is more likely to be from the heater matrix, a hole in the floor due to corrosion, a grommet or bung pierced or missing in the bulkhead or a leak around your windscreen seal to be honest

Dont fret dude... the heater matrix would be the worst IMO, difficult job, followed by a leak around your windscreen seal, but niether should be hard or too expensive to get done.
A hole in the floor due to corrosion is easily and fairly cheaply welded.
A grommet or bung pierced or missing in the bulkhead is easily spotted and rectified, you just gotta look hard!
Even worth a look at the seal around your drivers side door!
I shall be spending my weekend underneath the bonnet with a magnifying glass and a torch, i'll be checking everything you suggested, hopefully i'll get it sorted in no time. I'm very attached to this car, i hate when there's anything wrong with it, granted thats not very often. Thanks Again.
