Hi Guys been on a long holiday to New Zealand had a great time my uncle Alex emigrated there bout 30+ years ago and its the 1st time Ive been out to see him.One reason I went was I hurt my back at work and the heat as well and rest has really helped things iam pleased to report.I also thought if I dont now I probalbly would never have got the chance again.
Hi Alan no I dont have any new panda's I still have my Colour which looking at the clock since its MOT in June has covered 186 miles and its taxed as of this month and on the road so Iam looking forward to racking up some mileage soon.Sadly my other one was trashed while away and had to be put down.
Jim I Thought I saw your car at the weekend up at Glenrothes?Travel inn does that ring a bell m8?
I was up the chinese buffet across the road.
So whats been Happening? anything new?guys?Hope everyone else behaving themselves and keeping well?

Yes, that was me! I was in St Andrews having dinner with Alan's family and generally being totally fabulous but Sylvia wasn't invited so she camped out at the travelodge (cause she's not at the stage where she can drive her self back from the pub yet

wondered where you'd gone !
i bet youre freezing now after N.Z. north or south island ? my parents lived on both during the 50s/60s , though back in england now ,i've only been to the north but totally loved it ,the people and the 'lifestyle'.
bad news about panda no.2 but i hope the colours still running ok .has it been standing or driven by friends etc ?

Hi Gina Thanks yes It was the bay of plenty as you'll know having been to the North staying in Tauranga and several visits to Whakatane where my Uncle lived before-they used to live there before settling further down the coast. I did stay also for 5 days in Wellington which was great.The weather was starting to reach its peak just before I left superb heat early January 84 degrees amazing yes it truly is a different world out there.I would go back easily.
Its good to be home though.My Colour was Garaged and fired up no problem once I gave her a drink of fuel and connected her pp3 battery ha!ha! I mean 12 volt.So that was pleasing the only trouble Ive had is I have a lazy starter which can be a bit of a pain but I have a spare so i should change it soon as have time maybe this weekend.

Seems to be the done thing with Sylvia as I came out of the pub tonight to see Sylvia with 4 kids round her taking pics on their camera phones and one very loudly shouting at the other 'Here, yer man that owns this has driven it round the world!'
