As per the title really - are they on some sort of timer/thermostat arrangement? After about 10 mins this freezing-cold morning my arsewarmer stopped warming my arse, and wouldn't fire back up until it had been left off for another 10 minutes! (by which time I was about 100 yards from the substation gate :( )

Is this normal, or a fault (e.g. overenthusiastic overheating protection)?

Naa mate, just Fiat electrics..:devil:
Mine used to burn my ass and wouldn`t switch off.. dealers said there was nothing wrong and that this was normal !!!
Had it fixed by an independant in the end.
