Heat replacement valve? :S

long story short I have to get onto a receptionist for absenteeism and I need to clear something up first.

She drives an 06 Ford KA and has told me that her "Heat replacement valve" cracked and her engine over heated.

Now I am no expert but I call BS on this one?

Any experts want to help me out?

only heater valve is the heater control valve and it can indeed leak the coolant out if broken...
