General Headrests!

Hello men&women...sorry for the low-technical thread, but can anyone here explain me how to dismantle the headrests from the seats??Of course mine's a '92 model!

ISTR the very early Pandas had removeable head rests - they just "unplugged".
But I'd guess with all the safety legislation and worry about whiplash injury etc the later ones will be a structural/rigidly fastened part of the seat.

My best shot would be to "skin" the seat back by undoing it at the base edge and peeling the cover back/upwards to reveal the stuffing/foam and frame work.

The entertaining bit will be getting it back together again.

My father already done this job to mount the actual covers, but I thought there was an easier way to replace them, as they're quite worn now,but you confirm what I was thinkingB)[!]!So I'll look for covers that fit the seats with headrest mounted
