General Headlining retrim

Im going to hopefully retrim my headlining but im not sure how much fabric i should order, it will be my first time doing this so i dont know how much overlap il need to leave or the width of fabric il need, so if anyone has done it before and can remember the length and width they bought it would be very helpful

lol thats a surprise, its not the typical black suade that everyone else goes with. Its something thats a little more, me Il pm you with a link to what im thinking

i bought 4 metres of suede, was enough to do roof and pillars and make quite a few mistakes. Plus i had some left over. You could get away with 3 metres easy i reckon, 4 if you want to be very safe.

but can you remember the width? I was thinking about 4 to do it

can't remember, measure your roof lining and make sure its wider that that.

about 20cm wider than the widest point to be safe so you can wrap it round. like this:

www.frost.co.uk stock all sorts of car retro and custom stuff. They have the high temperature contact adhesive. Ordinary Evo-Stik wont cope in summer heat.

yeh thats another thing, you'll need about 1.5 litres of glue. I just bought 2 of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HEAVY-DUTY-HI...pplies_Paint&hash=item33549fbff1#ht_879wt_905 and bulldog clips are usefull too.
