Styling Headlamp woes etc

Hi Every one Drew here new to the forum
I own 2 cinq sportings a blue 1997 one with 94k miles on the clock and a yellow 1998 one with 33k on the clock both have headlamp problems ,
the Chrome reflectors rusting, does any one know if its possible to replace the lenses on left hand drive units with the lenses from right hand drive units and will this make them uk legal or not :bang:
Also I am thinking of putting those circular covers on the rear and the blinkers on the front, will this adversley effect my MOT any help here greatly appreciated thanks in advance Drew

Yep, glasses are swappable, form lhd to rhd, I'm planning in doing the same. Just make sure you get the right colour plastic on the inside

I would have expected the chrome reflectors are different - left and right hand drive? Can someone confirm?

I've seen it done before, the difference is in the glass

Me too.. The glass is obviously important... but the reflector must (or *might*) also be important LHD vs RHD...?

The reflector can be adjusted, but the glass determines where the light is thrown out. Eg on to oncoming traffic. Reflectors are the same
