Technical Glow Plug Relay…2.3

Morning,

Our MH has just been into local garage for what we thought was going to be new glow plugs as EML and Glow plug warning flashed up.

MH is only 4 years old and covered 4200 miles!!!!

Garage performed a manual DPF flush and tested glow plugs, found to be ok but traced fault back to relay.

They orders in the genuine relay £200 and fitted it this morning, checked dash and EML / Glow plug warning still showing, not the relay.

The put old relay back in and said I’d need to take it to a Fiat professional dealer.

I’ve been reading this forum as a guest for sometime and there’s some knowledgeable people here, so I thought I’d ask if anyone has any idea before I pay £140+Vat for the hours diagnoses!

Many on Forum use MES diagnostics which give good information ( I use MaxiEcu scan tool as a Scudo I had used Peugeot engine which MES doesn't read)
Given the age of your vehicle you may find a "securitygateway issue" Gendan are the suppliers of MES etc and if asked I have found very helpful.
I recently tested a 1.6 Doblo of mine using the MaxiEcu scan tool which may be a small guide if you search it on Forum.
