Get polish off vinyl!

Help! I tried to be careful not to get any polish need the vinyl parts on my car and i ended up getting a little on my roof. Tried soapy water to get the polish out but it won't budge. Any suggestions?

Autoglym make a bumper care product - in fact I think it's called Bumper Care - which should work on Vinyl. If you want a quick fix, I've heard of some people having success by rubbing the affected area with a rubber (pencil eraser) or scrubbing with a toothbrush (tip - use an old one, not the wife's).
