And another update, every single bearing is shot:/ diff gears seems within tolerance now after taking away factor of completely gone bearings. I do think this thread may be a warning for all euro 6 c635 gearboxes as apparently according to Fiat that’s when changes happed to bearing and shafts…

And all covered by insurance apart from disassembly fee (£300ish) ( which to be fair is mentioned for gearbox in terms and conditions) Full set of bearings and all new seals coming through. Apparently same type of problem like with m32 gearboxes plus choice of cheap suppliers. All new bearing ordered from koyo on my request

I’ve heard steering rack and column from Giulietta or Abarth may fit and make steering less “cheese like”. But that’s still unconfirmed

DMF gone too…

Theyxare 2 types apparently ( 3if you consider euro6 c or d) so Valeo or luk. Both non compatible with each other

I’ll tell you better story, dmf is factory reconditioned one as original on decided to die after 20k miles. Fiat didn’t diagnose bearing correctly which killed both another dmf and driveshaft bearing
