Technical Gear stick came off! Help

Hi!
I have a 2004 Fiat Ducato motorhome 1997cc diesel engine.
Somebody put on here that they pulled their gear stick off! I’ve done exactly the same … it’s a long story!
There were links put up on how to replace it. But they don’t appear to work!
This is the bit I need to get back in place
