Hello. Brand new to 124 Fiat Spiders as of July 2024. The new owner of my son's college house seemingly did not know or did not care that this 1975 Fiat Spider 124 convertible was sitting in the garage of the house he just purchased. I had the car brought up from Corvallis, Oregon to Portland and a mechanic has been doing the necessary work on the car since it sat for at least seven years. I have now taken over so I have a lot to learn.

Hi. Welcome to, the forum. It sounds like a great project . There are more spare parts available in the US than Europe I think. Best of luck with your renovations.
Thanks a lot. It’s nice to be a part of this group. I am currently looking for guidance on installing the Vick Auto ignition relay. It seems straightforward but I’d like to see a photo or two. I’ll be perusing a lot. So far I have found some excellent tidbits like advice on removing a stuck steering wheel. Mine is giving me a fight.

Keep posting, there are a number a really good engineers on here who share knowledge generously. Click on Forums tab and find the 124 section. Watch out not to get into the new 124 forum as it might not be so helpful for good responses.
