i recently replaced the fuel system solenoid located under the passenger side front wing connected to the carbon flushing filter on my 1997 car
the solenoid emits a ticking/ clicking sound when accelerator is pressed and stops when lifting off the accelerator
the car performs ok with no problem
The old solenoid did not make the noise
I replaced the old solenoid as part of an overhaul of the fuel system ie new valves and rubber seals to the tank , new carbon flushing filter and new vapour canister which fits behind the drivers seat in the hood storage area
Anyone had the same issue or can offer advice
