Hi guys,

Does anyone know what the torque settings are for the front hub nut (Fiat Bravo 1.4 T-jet 2007)?

I've just replaced the offside driveshaft and need to torque it up.

Much appreciated.

Cheers

If you are using the old hub nut then I used the notches in it as a reference to line the notch on the shaft and the hub nut.not ideal but has been fine for me.

Thanks Daiton, I'm using a new nut.

Thanks Achiuta, sorry, what is 60 grade please? 66 - 73 does seem very low for a hub nut, is that definite?

tighten the nut at 7 Kg force =7daNm = 70 Nm and at the end rotate another 60 degrees the nut.
This is from elearn for 1.4, 16 valves T-Jet.

Aschiuta / SRafferty - Brilliant thanks for that.

I noticed there are elearn downloads on this site, I've downloaded them, but when I come to do the unpacking WinRAR states there is an error, checksum error and ISO invalid. Oh well, I tried, thanks again guys for being so helpful.

I know the torque seems low.

You need to download all the 8 component pieces of the archive.
Put them all in the same folder, then the archive extraction won't fail... I've just done it; it still works.
(might also need WinRar, think i've used 7zip)
You'll need the iso to install, and each time you want to run, the iso needs to be mounted.

aurick86 - for some reason part 7 was only partially downloading, as you had successfully downloaded , I thought I would look into it and I've managed to download them all and successfully ran WinRar, so thanks for letting me know it still worked - nice one.
