I didn't in the end, I did buy a switch pack from a similar aged Ypsilon and switched it on in MES, either I didn't do it right, or there are some subtle differences, or most likely its not possible on the body computer... Next plan was to get the canM8 module and create a new loom to use the stock switch... but I never got that far... I have the switch though!
 
Any general interest in this? Well aware it's due some photos of it clean and shiny, but I've bought another car and frankly this is too good to px or have picked over by the likes of webuyanycar or carwow

Love the car, great example and the early 319 Panda's have the best interiors. I have that exact Pioneer headunit waiting to be installed in my soon to arrive Cross, did you need anything other than the Connects2 kit to allow it to work with the steering wheel controls?

I had to buy a gloss black adapter and would recommend you buy a better DAB antenna, as the one in the bit was a bit rubbish.

Cheers lunchbeers. Pioneer make quality kit and I got a good deal on the unit. Needed a CD player since the new Panda no longer has one so this suited perfect. I got an adaptor just need the leads and DAB aerial. I'll likely get my local Comms place to fit it all for me
