Ya can get a kit mase where u get the angel rings and u need to take ur headlights apart and secure them in place, just need to wire em up to a switch, i fancied getting some but couldnt be assed wit all the hassle of taking the headlamps apart and then wat if a broke em

there were instructions on how to make angel-eyes on the Cinqs_and_Seis newsgroup a couple of years ago.

Its something like a length of acrillic with slits cut into it, heat it up and bend it into a circle. Then have an LED at the top and the slits that have been cut in not only help with the bending but also the refraction of the light around the "eye".

To get them into the headlamp, you need to heat it up in the oven to melt the glue and then insert. Heat it up again to reseal it.

Ive been really tempted to try it myself for quite some time but was always dubeous about 2 rings fitting into each lamp.

you can't take them apart. i had to cut a slit and place them in.

you can you put the headlamp in the oven on low heat for about 10-15 minuets then the glass comes off very easy

EDIT like it says above sorry i didnt read it all but ive never reheated a lamp to re-seal ive always used new bond,

Sorry to ask yet more questions but did you buy an Angel Eye kit and then custom fit them into your headlamps?

Or did you make the Angel Eyes youself like "littleyellowcar" said?

i bought them! www.ebay.co.uk type in angel eyes and you get the circles 2 big 2 small. and the tip about the oven sounds good coz you don't shag ya lights up then!

I feel this could be a job for the festive break

Any close-up pictures of the head lights, with the lights both on and off would be VERY usefull so that I can see exactly where abouts you have mounted the Angel Eye's.
