Fitting a Rear passanger window

Hey guys, bought a car last night, got it cheap and it was to temp insure it so i'm gunna play around with it until my mate buys it

anyway, somebody kindly but the rear passenger window through last night (the night i bought it!)

bit gutted but can't be helped, hoping to get a replacement at the scrapyward in the morning, can't find much info on the internet about specificaly fitting/removing rear side windows on a 3 door.

anyone have any experiences with this, my mate at college mentioned using string or something

i haven't mentioned which car it is for a reason

may be beneficial to mention the vehicle, some techniques work on certain vehicles and not others

aren't most rear windows easier to replace with hinges/frame as most on 3 door cars just open outwards a tiny amount, so easy to do. using string is more to do with windscreens and the rear screen when they're held in place by rubber rather than bonded as on newer cars.

it's a corsa B, not permenant or anything and the punto's staying.

got this for a price i couldn't refuse, nice little SRi.

but yeah.. the rear windows don't open slightly like on some cars

i've found out how to do it from the bloke at the scrappy.

using metal picture frame, try and make a hole in the seal bonding stuff on the window, feed the wire through, tie something on each end of the wire, 2 people to do this would help, pull it back and forwards and your trying to use the wire to cut through the seal as you go along, trying not to do it too fast as it will heat up and crack the window.

bought some stuff for a fiver from halfords to stick the window in, totally useless, after half an hour it still wasn't sticking, still not in
