firing order

I've had to replace my distributor cap but accidentally got my leads mixed up. I've set it up as 1324 would this be right or does fiat use a different firing order? It tries to start but it seems like it's firing at the wrong strokes ie excaust stroke etc
the engine is a single ovc 1000cc in an 89' uno.

Try 1-3-4-2 instead.

Cheers mate tried that but still wont fire up, the spark plugs are sparking, but if the ballast ressistor is not working it won't start is this right or would there be another problem? heaps of petrol coming through I'm going to check the resistance in the primary and secondary coils tomorrow.
