Fine Folks,
I have one of the Panda repair books and it is good. I have learned a lot. But, it says, when re-installing the timing BELT for a Fire 1000 OHC, to install it in the direction the motor moves. Hmmmm ... naturally, I didn't note which way the arrows were pointing when I removed the last one.
If I'm looking at the bolt on the cam shaft pulley, will it rotate towards the radiator or the alternator?

Details, details, details ...

Auguste

The engine rotates clockwise, towards the radiator. If the belt has no arrow markings, then just put the belt on with the writing facing you so you can read it and install that way.

K&N Induction Kit On A Panda?? Never!!!

If you have a genuine FIAT belt there are two yellow lines which should align exactly with the timing marks if it is correctly fitted.

But of course, you've already fitted it as I've read in another post by you!

Steve - who's had the life force sucked out of him by NTL :(
