It would still be illegal if they provided free tracks to do it on. Why should tax payers have to pay for something like this, why can't the people who own the cars pay for it? If they can afford cars like that, they can afford to go on a track day.

Love it! Wonder if it helps.

so exactly how do you fund these tracks?
If you want a field to race on then go rent/buy one

So while people in all lines of work are losing their jobs, we should expect the government to to waste public money satisfying the urges of boy racers?

Perhaps if these idiots spent a little less money making their cars look like an explosion in a branch of Halfords they could afford to go on trackdays

:ROFLMAO:

trackdays are quite expensive... On the otherhand, you can join a motor racing club. Some events require a "speed" license - £40, will have to find a link to where to get it..

I was going to join a club but couldn't find it :( locals are already members so again i'll have to get then post more info on here(y)

The last event i went to was a speed event - how quick you can get around a set course marked out on a disused air field:slayer:

some of the car there were just Awesome(y) - Planning on using a fiat panda sergio & mk1 punto for the upcoming drag event - open event - i think, ill try and get more info(y)

Bulls**t to a lesser point did you know that if two of your neighbours complain about your wether its loud music or 'reckless' driving they can tow you car and charge mega bucks

Slightly more to it than that, but if it stops idiots on the road, even better!

Don't drive like a **** and you won't lose your car, rather simple really.

I personally think it's a big waste of a working car. But if it teaches the street racers a lesson and stops them doing something ilegal then bring it on.

When I say the same thing about people paying for their own kids instead of lumping the taxpayer with the bill, everyone gets all bent out of shape. :D
