My Fiat Ducato 2022 loses all brake servo vacuum after 24 hours left standing. I would have expected it to last longer than that. Would that be normal and if not what would be the first thing to check.

Hello,

First thing to check? MultiEcuScan :)
Tried that, there are no DTC's relating to the braking system and I can't find any parameters with reference to the brake servo vacuum. As soon as the engine starts the brake servo works fine, it's just when it's left standing that the vacuum leaks away over a period of 24 hours.

Just trying to get a rough idea on how long the servo vacuum persists for other Ducato users.

Can't say for sure about Ducato , but 24 hours is a fair time for a air vacuum valve to stay sealed I would have thought. Although I have come to vehicles at a longer interval and been surprised to find they still have vacuum.
Over the years I have found different lengths of time on different vehicles.
Main thing is as soon as you start up and want to move the vehicle the brake vacuum is working normally.
You could try stopping the engine and using a listening device to see if you can hear any slow leaks, but it may be quite small.
Many years ago doing Mot tests you would have someone pump the brake pedal and listen for leaks, switch the engine off and press pedal to lose the vacuum , then start engine with pedal depressed to detect when vacuum started to operate.
You could connect a hand operated vacuum pump to the vacuum line from the engine and see what it's gauge shows as a test for leaks.

That's what I would have thought, it's still under warranty so I'll have it checked by the Fiat garage since it has to go in soon for another issue.
