Hello all, im a newbie that needs help, on shifting from 1st grear to 2nd i loose power, like limp mode, so from 1st to 2nd, from 2nd to 3rd and from 3rd to 4th, it pulls me back instead of giving more power it sort of pull you back, it happened going up a hill and i had to stop, then i could turn it off and it would be perfect on starting, a pit crazy, was on a journey and have to return to base now today its fine, ive felt it pull back when moving from 1st to 2nd at lights but since then its fine, any advice would be really appreciated, nice to be here.

Is this a new problem.. or something that has crept up on thousands of miles ?

Any major work done that could contribute ..

No warning lights..?
They could leave a fault code

When changing gear there is (or shouldn't be) any pressure on the throttle and the clutch is disengaged.

Therefore momentarily the vehicle is coasting so if you are feeling the van is 'pulling back' this suggests that something is slowing the vehicle possibly dragging brakes? (If this is the case you may be able to smell them or feel them after a run)

Thank you Chris but no smell of anything, someone mentioned the AGR? Valce sooting up....

No fault code, its got 32k miles on clock, its just started happening
