Hi all,

Just failed MOT on lambda readings. Other emissions passed (see image).

He said it could be a pin hole but I thought that if that were the case, it'd be between the 2 sensors? (Cat). I can't see or hear anything anyway.

I've taken the 2 sensors out and they are both a tan/white colour and read 9.5 and 12 ohms respectively.
Have also ran redex through with an Italian tune-up to no avail, still same readings.

I'm at a bit of a loss at the moment so any help would be appreciated.

Cheers, Joe

Think for the price of one and not knowing how old it is I’d replace the precat lambda, normally sorts things in my experience. Normally if it’s the sensor after the cat you’ll get an engine light as the readings between the 2 sensors are too similar or something. Just don’t go cheap cheap on the sensor or you might end up buying twice!

Therefore would swapping the sensors around give me any further information? If they're the same sensor it would therefore throw a CEL?
