Technical Faded rear lights

I’ve been thinking of a way to brighten up my faded rear lights. Which are a common problem on Barchettas.

I’ve just used this product:

SOLL RED BACK TAIL LIGHT TINTING SPRAY 150ml Aerosol Car Paint Backlight | eBay

150ml Aerosol. SOLL RED BACKLIGHT PAINT. Before usage, clean the surface thoroughly, remove rust and sand down. Shake can for at least 2 minutes. Test spray to check compatibility and colour tone. Spray crosswise in thin layers.

It’s really good makes the car look new again. Highly recommended.

This brings up a fairly? important point. Some MOT testers will fail lights on color. One MOT tester picked questions about our Barchetta front indicators being possible too white. Took me a while to convince the guy it is what it is and different to others. Never had a problem before or afterwards so there is clearly scope to fall foul one year and not the next.

I was not aware these/this tinting spray was available so thank you for your posting!
