Technical factory fitted alarm

we have a 1996 fiat barchetta n reg can anyone tell us if will have a standard factory fitted alarm, if so how can you tell and how is it turned on and off (we are having a despute with the insurance company)

If you want to find out if you have a fiat original alarm fitted, just look infront of the battery under the bonnet. If you see the side of the battery you dont have an alarm. You can have central locking and not have an alarm.
