Technical External Power Hook Up Socket Broken.

2014 Campscout. Managed to rip the door off the external hook up connector. Got a complete new unit but struggling to remove the old one. Hoped it would slide out but seems too big. Internally the socket is not visible. Anyone else had this dilemma.

Not normally internally fixed.

Can you post a picture?

They are sealed in and can take some getting out. You might need to push it from inside. What’s in the way inside?

'Wood' panelling would need to be removed or a hole cut to access the back of the socket. I have now managed to replace the broken unit, from the outside, but it was a struggle. Many thanks for your post.
