OEM rubber parts are such ****e nowadays, my brothers ford galaxys exhaust is held on with rubbers from my dads 78 audi 100, my 05 ducato has the rubbers from the 95 ducato I scrapped still holding up.

Click to expand... I always put a LARGE section cable tie / tie wrap, aound the rear mount rubber, the rubber keeps it flexible.. BUT the strapping of the tie mean it's supporting the weight a lot more effectively, I've yet to break a rubber mount since doing this 15 years ago, ( it should Pass MOT inspections too -even if the rubber has perished / LET-GO) Charlie
