Punto (Mk2/2b) Excessive wind noise

Hi my name is Ian. My 2003 punto has excessive wind noise inside the car. My friend said the doors were mal aligned and explained how to realign but still have a lot of noise. Any suggestions?

have alook at the door seal,
its a weird seal on these and come apart with age..it starts from windscreen right the way back just a few tacky clips holding it in place..weak desighn,

other than that check door glass is fully closing
has the door/s been bent back at one stage? sometimes happens with puntos

Yes both doors had been bent back in the past. My friend told me how to fix this with a wooden block above the hinge and move the door back and forth to straighten the door

Check striker plate on door post too,

if you look closely at it you will see markers theres a markers on the metal of car and on the stricker plate, to lighn it up,

dont undue torques bolts fully if you play with this or you can end go fishing for bolts,

just loosey and the plate moves up down/side to side,

I found when I cut out sprouts from my roast dinners the problem of wind inside the car came to an end and people now enjoy travelling with me!
