Hi,
I have a 1.6 multijet diesel,2016,only done 29k,it has been standing,no warning lights while starting and moving around but once i started using it have check engine warning and eml and goes into limp mode,my cheap scanner has these codes p0104 mass or volume airflow A circuit intermittent and p0238 turbocharger boost sensor A circuit high,any ideas please?

I have a couple of 2010 1.6 Doblo vans, one had an issue with similar codes and black smoke, once you put your foot down on dual carriageway it would go into limp mode with no smoke and max revs around 3k.
Did all the usual checks including several good diagnostic tools and even tried pressure testing the turbo hoses and intercooler.
In the end I bit the bullet and went to a specialist the trade uses to locate the fault.
In my case it was a air leak where the EGR pipe joins the inlet manifold with a small three bolt flange and gasket which sorted the problem.
If I hadn't stopped at the pressure test of induction , but borrowed a friends smoke leak detector machine it would have shown up earlier.
So what I am saying is any air leak from MAF sensor to inlet ports could be the cause.
Those error codes you have logged were the same as mine.

I have an ongoing issue with above vehicle, delete error code and vehicle pulls and revs OK , but with a bit of black smoke (seen much worse but is noticable), during a short drive using full throttle it will go into "limp mode" only revving to around 3000rpm and no black smoke. Error code P0238...
