Styling Electroclash grey? Can't decide on colour!

Hi, I've decided to buy a fiat 500, but can't decide on a colour, I'm thinking of electroclash grey with white interior but am worried it will look a bit dull. Does anyone own one in this colour or have pictures of one they could post? I really wanted a ye ye green one and was so annoyed when I found out they don't make them in that colour anymore, I feel I have to pick a colour that is the best of a bad bunch rather then one I really like, Grrrrr. any opinions/ advice on this would be great!

I just orederd the Crossover Black, but now having serious sencond thoughts as to the colour.
I want to change it to the Grey, but think its too late now

Gem - don't give up on finding a green one. I was in the same position as you a month back and didn't think I'd be able to get a green one (none advertised anywhere, except the funny looking one currently on EBay with red seats?!) and then I found one randomly at Fiat in Worcester, which is being delivered in 2 week. You could maybe contact Fiat to see if there are any new ones unsold currently.
That said, if you want to spec your own, I have heard quite good things about the Electroclash grey - that one seems to be the most popular (in terms of good comments, don't know about the actual figures) of the new colours. Is it metallic though? Because if so, I'm not sure at all that metallic look right on the 500 - the solid ones just seem to suit it better. As for the interior, if I went for grey, I'd definitely have black ambiance interior, as the ivory is quite cream - not sure what it'd look like with the grey paintwork inside? (NB - I'm saying all this havi9ng not seen one, so I may be totally and utterly wrong as the colours often look different in real life to how they look in photos, right?)
If I hadn't found the green one, I reckon I might've gone for red

IMO the grey is a very very nice colour. It has a deep, wet finish to it that really looks good on the curves of the car! When me and my friend saw it in person for the first time we both commented on how stunning it looked in the sunshine. Add a white 'sports' stripe up the side and it'll be spot on.

There was an Electroclash grey in my dealers a few weeks ago and it looks superb, very classy indeed. It's the sort of colour that looks like the paint's still wet it's so glossy, like you could dip your hand into it. If you got one of those with tan leather and ivory ambiance it would look like a Saville Row suit on wheels!

It looks awful when grubby mind, seen one about local in grey and I always think its a Micra. I know what you mean about the colours, there are non which look really nice now except yellow. This is probably why all the latest 09 reg 500s are white as no one likes the other colours so they choose the free one

Sadly, so do I. The 500 C will benefit greatly from the new solid colours its just a shame they haven't decided to do the same with the hatch, well, not yet anyway.

We drove 40 miles yesterday to see a Panda (we couldn't find a 500 locally) in the right colour as I was looking at the Electroclash grey. It looks gorgeous in the sunshine but just 'normal' grey when its not. There is a post on here with some pictures of a 500 in it...

What a fabulous colour now I've seen it on that link. I ordered my 500 in BNW 3 weeks ago this Thursday. I'm ringing the dealer first thing tomorrow, and if I can change the order, I definately will:yum:

Thanks everyone, I'm still undecided! Though the pics of the grey do look really nice I'm not sure whether it makes the 500 look a bit less like a 500 and more like any other car, which defies the point of getting a 500, I think I'll try and get hold of a green one but I'm not too hopeful, I might end up with a white one like everyone else as £375 is a lot to spend on a colour I'm not totally sure about, when I could get one I'm not too sure about for free!

I quite like the yellow too but not having seen one myself I'm not sure I could live with such a bright colour. red just isn't me, and the new orleans blue just looks a wee bit tacky (to me anyway)

Hi again. Someone wrote on my original thread about getting a green one yesterday (I managed to get one, but I guess they thought I wwas still actively looking), and they told me that their dealer had said that there was a brand new Ye Ye Green one in Guernsey that they could get in for them, and so it might be worth asking your dealer if they can locate it. It has black leather interior with dark ambiance (which looks fabulous).
I know what you mean about the grey - I kind of agree. Its that gunmetal grey you often see on Micras, so maybe not so original as the other colours.

I think the Grey makes it look quite classy, not too fond of the Blue though, looks a bit 'normal'. If I had to buy one again it would be in Funk White.
