This car is giving me all sorts of problems, any helpe would be greatly appreciated...

I had massive wiring problems (the AA ****ed my car by burning the relays out). Just fixed all of that, now the car turns over but does not start. On the dial in the centre it says "ECONOMY MODE ACTIVE".

The doors work fine. I read a previous thread on here that suggests that I may need a computer reset from FIAT , is this true?

Is there anything I can try at home to cure the problem.

Thanks in advance for any help :worship::worship::worship::worship:

i had a very similar problem on my 03 one.it turned out to be the 10amp fuse in the box under the bonnet. i thinh its number was 2!!! its on the lower row and its the one on its own?

battery is probably low or knackered "economy mode active" should clear when you get it running try getting a boost off another car but make sure it has a proper sized battery !!!!!!
