A 2pin but the mobo want's three, can I adapt an old optical audio lead to suit perhaps?

Hmm........I dunno. Easiest way I can see to do it is to solder on a 3 pin connection or use single connectors, but personally I wouldn't particularly want bodged wires in my PC case :chin: You could just leave it off. I have no power LEDs on my case But I have LED case fans for my light show
