Hi there.
Have a 2009 Ducato with Bessacarr motorhome body. The rear speakers conncted to the cab radio work correctly but the front speakers do not work.
I have checked that there are speakers fitted in the cab doors and that they are connected but there is no connection from the plug on the back of the radio to the front speakers. If checked with a multi-meter both rear speaker circuits are 4ohms but the front circuits are open circuit. Are there any more connectors between the radio and the speakers that may have been pulled apart? T I A.

Did you actually 'meter out' the front speakers to prove they are OK ?

Check on the radio itself that the front speakers are turned on as you can dim the front or back speakers out

Yes, checked with meter from rado plug. 4 ohms on both rear speakers and open circuit on both front speakers but the speakers are connected when you open up the door panel.

Yes. Both checked o.k. but the cables going to each speaker are a different colour to the cables that go into the loom at the back of the radio.

I just had a look at the wiring to the passenger door speaker on my 2011 Ducato based MH. The speaker is connected to a green wire and a black wire. These wires are about 4 inches long and go to a connector. At the connector the black connects to a "white with black stripe" and the green connects to a "white with grey stripe". These last 2 wires are then incorporated into the cloth wrapped loom. I am 100% sure everything I described is totally original Fiat build and has not been modified by the MH builder.

Suspect there may be a plug in the loom to allow the door to be removed. Have seen mention of a 'multiplug'
