Tools I used

How I did it
- 3/8 wrench with a 10mm socket
- long and short T40 torx
- crosshead screwdriver
- flat bit of plastic to pop covers off, maybe get the right tools to do this.

How I did it
- Lever the back of the electric window button panel- it’s the same leverage point on RH door ( LH door shown- UK model)
- Lever off the speaker cover and then use the cross head screwdriver to remove 3 screws that hold the speaker in place
- Pry the window trim off, i just popped off the clip at the top of the door and the two down the side and gently bent the plastic to get my socket in
- Find the mirror wiring plug which on mine is just below where the window switches sit. If you have a temp sensor feature on your van, the driver’s side will have two plugs. When undone , feed the wiring out to the main area of the door, to make it easy to remove the mirror wiriing. Use the long T40 to remove 2 screws near the hinge and the short t40 to remove the 2 under the trim. When you get to the Last screw holding the mirror on, make sure the door is fully open, as this will prevent the mirror from falling off. Then when all screws are out, support the mirror, close the door and lift off.
- Minor issue I found with the mirrors I purchased, the lower guide pin on the mirror was longer that my old ones and so I drilled a hole into a second plate to make it fit- instead of cutting the mirror pin short( incase there is an issue that it needs to be returned. Another issue I found which doesn’t affect my van, the mirrors, I think are for a left hand drive as the sensor is on the left mirror, unlike my old mirrors which have a redundant plug off the mirror( there is no plug on my door loom for a sensor)
- Fitting of the new mirror is as above, but in reverse.
