Hi,
I have a Fiat Ducto 2.8 ,I am having intermittant problems with the key code immoblisor system.Van starts and runs fine for weeks,then the key code is not recognized ! and dash warning light stays on.
Keep trying all the keys then after 15 mins or so all will be fine.
I read in an earlier post that the immobiliser can be done awy with ,does this have to be done by Fiat garage or can any auto electrician do it ?
Have checked for loose damaged wiring all seems OK,is the immobisler the yellow box at RH side of steering below dash ?This is where the antenna wire plugs into,any help is most appreciated,as it is doing my head in.
