There are several threads about the failing airbag modules in the x250. Try modifying the thread title, you will get more appropriate 'similar threads' on the bottom of your own.
Try searching the forum - there are at least two companies in the UK that claim to be able to repair the modules. One of them has better reviews than the other. I can't remember their names as they are too far away to be in my interests
The module does not like voltage drops nor playing with seats, or rather the cables that are connected to pretensionners. I've also heard/read about a failing module due to inappropriate battery disconnection. Once the ignition is turned off there's still much residual voltage in the system. The battery disconnection has to be done some time (can't remember) after the ignition has been turned off, with doors closed (so from within the cab). There are also a couple of descriptions and extracts from the owner's handbook on the forum.
I've also read on a motorhome forum that the error appeared while swiveling one of the front seats, probably due to a too short or wrongly attached pretensionner cable.
