I am working on a 2014 Ducato Van 180 multijet with 3.0l 130kw engine & Comfortmatic gearbox.
I thought I would add this info for future reference.
The intake manifold can be removed with the throttle attached. Remove the fuel line from the High Pressure pump to fuel rail. Manifold being in two pieces makes it very easy to clean up.
Remove throttle body either before or after manifold to give it a good clean.
First timers allow 2hrs for removal
Tip - best to have a new gasket set. You could reuse the metal gaskets but the throttle body 4 hole gasket will be damaged when removing.

The EGR can be removed reasonably easy as well.
Looking into engine from front.
3 coolant hoses
4 main bolts through housing. 1 Allen screw clamp on right hand side. Put a rag under as there is a thin metal gasket in there
2 Allen head bolts to exhaust manifold. These can be got to with a 1/4" drive ratchet & socket drive. Unclip the aluminium airconditioning pipes so the can be moved a bit to ratchet on to the rear bolt.
I used a short tube on ratchet to give me a bit of leverage as these are tight due to heat from exhaust manifold.
Tip - replace the 2 Allen Bolts to exhaust manifold when putting it back together.
This is the electric motor style EGR. If you remove the centre drive gear you can then move the valve flap open to make sure it's cleaned up properly.
Tip - always mark the position of parts before removal to save a headache later.
First timers allow 2hrs for removal.
