General Drivers footwell getting wet after heavy rain - screen replaced in Jan and scuttle drains clear

Hi, I had a new screen in January and yesterday I noticed a bit of mould on the carpeted mat on drivers side so lifted it up and it was wet underneath. not soaked but looking up to where brake pedal is, I noticed a little bit of wet there on a lip in the rubber flooring so would that suggest the screen was not bonded properly or something else?
