My drivers door rubber is quite torn up and really needs replacement - can tell some moisture is getting in now.

Problem is that I can't figure out exactly what profile it is to get a replacement; and more importantly, I can't figure out how to get the old one out in the first place!

https://www.auto-doc.ie/ridex/19842626#door-seal is what the autodoc tools are suggesting, which looks right on the outer profile anyway, but as I can't get the old one out, I can't verify

Anyone done this replacement before?

Did you have any luck finding a suitable replacement? This looks more like the correct seal: https://www.auto-doc.ie/ridex/18351043
The one you linked has "boot" for the fitting position, and the one I linked has the rubber seal part at a right angle to where it mounts to the bodywork edge, which seems right for the passenger doors.

I tried ordering these and they're not suitable for the doors. They don't have the flat textured part that covers the gap between the seal and the interior trim.

I forgot to update this - got an OEM door seal (part no. 51898992) from an Italian seller on eBay and it fitted fine, as expected. Was about €50 + shipping. Doesn't look like the seller has any more unfortunately.

Scrap yard is your best bet. The passenger side gets less use and can be "moulded" with hot water to reshape the curves. To avoid damage, it's best to remove the hard plastic sill trim. An awkward job because the factory put the seats in the way.

Check with these guys. They might have rolls of door seal trim to match. Send them a sample.
