I'm in real need of some help, if anyone is able to, as I need to get this going, as the MOT is now overdue, and I don't have off-street parking 😬

Codes: P0105, P0101, P0106.

Problem started with stuttering from cold, taking a few tries to start.

Once running, all fine.

Then wouldn't start after multiple attempts, so I disconnected the MAP sensor and was able to drive back 200 miles from Scotland to York, no problem.

Bought a new MAP sensor, but no improvement. Was able to drive it for a couple of minutes, and then it seemed to go into limp mode. Restarted engine and same again.

Lack of Haynes manual or YouTube material on this model is making a diagnosis difficult for me.

Battery ran flat due to it sitting over the last couple of months, so I've fitted a new battery as it was ancient anyway, but still can't get it to start beyond a few seconds.

Any advice, or pointers to material that will help me, or just anything at all would be so much appreciated.

Hello,

The 'Engine starts but cuts right away / cuts after a few seconds' section of the eLearn diagnostics is filled with the BiPower version of the Doblo suggesting problems with switching between fuels :(

But this could be helpful I hope:

I've just realized that somewhere in the middle diesel starts to be present in the doc, although I've selected the 1,4 petrol version, which can be seen on the 1st screenshot.

What was the scanner (interface and program) you've used?

It's a FIAT, they don't like the generic scanners :(

Oh wow, thank you so much for this! I 'borrowed' two scanners from Amazon for this. The first was a MOTOPOWER MP69033, which returned codes P0105, P0101, P0106. The second was a LAUNCH CRP123X V2.0 2024, which returned the same codes plus P0110 and P0115. Should I look for a Fiat specific OBD2 scanner?

The generic scanners won't allow you to connect to other modules than the engine. If you have to invest in a scanner, I'd buy a dedicated to FIAT. There are threads on the forum which discuss the subject :)
That's great advice. I'll go and investigate. Thank you!
