I have been scouring all the local breakers searching for a 750 gearbox
To my dismay there isn't a single Panda of any description to be found for parts in the whole of Glos.
Is this happening everywhere ?
In my desperation i've even looked at buying a couple of knackers off of ebay
but these went for too much £

Can anyone in the Midlands / South West help with my Gbox quest , any Panda fire gbox [pref. 750] to get me back on the road !

The Panda is becoming a car which is harder and harder to find in the average scrap yard. I think the majority of Panda's are now owned by people who want to keep them going. Like us here on ff really. And normally its now only accident damaged Panda's which have been written off that are appearing in scrappys, or so I am finding in the main anyway.

Of the 3 local ones to me, none have an actual panda but one did have the rear light cluster that I needed (well it turned out it wasn't exactly the same as mine unfortunately - didn't know there were different versions) so they must have had one once.

Probably the light cluster of the back of a mk1 not mk2 Panda. They fit, but don't wrap all the way around the side of the car so to speak.

Yes thats exactly it. I've just won both rear light clusters off eBay though and there were pics so they are the correct ones.

I had the same probelm with trying to get a LHD reversing lens so that I have two reversing lamps. There seem to be alot of parts for the mk1 Panda for sale on ebay.com and people take pics of the front and not at an angle to see the sides, so its hard to see if they're lenses for the mk1 or mk2.
