Hello.
I bought a rhd red Sisley over a year ago and love it. It is in great condition with clean beige interior and I just love it. I restored it to original by removing and replacing some questionable items on it.
I have a wife and 3 young kids and can fit them all in the panda comfortably as well as it carries 5 bikes. I have fitted a custom A Frame to the car, to be towed by my motorhome. I towed it from Ireland to the French Alps last summer without issue and drove it over the alps, loaded with 5 people and their bikes - all without issue.
I think it’s got a replacement engine in her, which is then injection and carb type set up with distributor cap.
It had a slight leak in the petrol tank and hence I ordered another from Italy. My mechanic fitted it but found that the original fuel pump assembly would not fit into the fuel tank because the new one has baffles in it. He recommended I try an external fuel pump, which we fitted into the engine bay, which was 14psi and called an Ae
ow. All was super, until idling in traffic when car was warm.
Then it cut out.
Thats when the head scratching started and I found this wonderful forum. Of course, like any amateur I started replacing bits! Idle controller, vacuum unit and engine ignition management switch as per the advice on this forum. Anyway it’s still cutting out.. I may post this issue in a more appropriate part of this forum..
