CV joint gone?

i think the above is on it's way out.every time i'm on full lock turning a corner, i can hear clicking noises coming from the front of the car, and as soon as i straighten out it stops.if this is the CV joint on it's last legs, how much £ are we looking at?any of you guys had it done?it's a 100hlx T99.

sounds like the outer cv joint. not a hard job to do.Easier to replace the complete driveshaft but more expensive of course

Don't know about the Brav, but my VW Golf went (broke into bits) and cost me about £15.00 to buy and approximately 1 - 2 hours of Tim's time.

Defo sounds like the CV joint has gone.

My HGT ones were about £35 off Ebay, and a 1½ - 2hr fitting time.
