Will this improve cornering or should i get a lowering kit somewhere, the car stands awosome (dropped 40mm=1 turn cut)but i can´t drive it yet (engine is torn apart for turbo conversion) so i don´t know if cornering is improved.

I don't think yours is the best idea, as the springs' flexibility remained the same but their lenght reduced[xx(].This can lead to end-stroke knocks....don't know how to explain it better, maybe you understand:).

Do I turn fast enough!?

The springs i´m cutting are a spare set i got from the scrappers a while ago, useless for anything else other then testing. I´ll look into aftermarket kits but doubt i´ll find any. The Y10 shocks do fit but they´re expensive where i live (189 euros for 4) and none at the scrappers.

The turbo conversion is a headache to begin with and i wouldn´t recommend anyone doing it until i test and smoth out any flaws by which time i´ll post a write up/how to on my site and post the url on here. My biggest problem is the carb not sealing right on a blow-trough setup(i found draw-trough scary fuel and air+very hot turbo yikes)i´ll keep trying ad post when i´m done.

Have you already decided which turbocharger will fit your engine? Is it a water-cooled one or only oil-lubricated type?In the 1st case I think you'll have to shake your brain to find a solution for the cooling addictional circuit[:0]...and what about the pistons?the head gasket?and the exhaust valves???

Do I turn fast enough!?

(RHB31 off of a Chevy Sprint 1.0L car or a subaru impresa turbo i got both)they both have water cooling and oil lube guess it could be a problem, but then again what isn´t when you make things work like they were never meant to!!!!:D

Engine internals will remain stock until it either blows or brakes(running low boost only maybe up to 4-5psi), i don´t have the time to replace parts for fun as my other cars aren´t careful on fuel consumption.

new a guy with a ford who cut his springs, every time he went over a bump they poped off thier seat, he had to hold them in with cable ties,

He probably kept the stock shocks which would be a big no-no. I´ll just retrofit a kit from another fiat somewhere.Thanx

Later addition:

Does anyone know a lowering kit that will fit the Panda? I was looking today and couldn´t find any that hah the same radius/thickness.thanx for any help.

H&R have some lowering sprigs for pandas ;) or maybe cobra! check www.cobra-suspension.com

In portugal you may order it in Autopamplona ;)

i noticed you´ve been looking for springs a while ago, have you got yours lowered?Whereabout are you located in Portugal (pls don´t say Lisbon unless you actually live there or near).

Lisbon Lisbon lol
Graça - Anjos ;)
And yes mine is lowered but its a y10, -2,5cm in front, -4cm behind.
The diferençe in front its because i have the y10 1000Fire which in front is the lighter of all (y10 1.1, 1.3, turbo)
